There's nothing like good fun.

Play plays an important role in badgers' lives. On the one hand, it gives the child the opportunity to exercise together with siblings, simulating combat, and preparing them for adult life. On the other hand, it is simply pleasure and joy in the same way as us humans. It's not just young badgers having fun. For over half an hour, I watched the whole family playing, consisting of the parents and two cubs from last year's litter. They were chasing, rolling, biting, squeaking and growling. There was also time for individual classes with a stick, similar to what dogs do.
