Little rascal

The Little Owl is the smallest owl found in Poland. The size is similar to a thrush - it reaches a maximum of 18 cm. Despite its small size, it is the terror of small birds - tits, finches, and robins. It can attack birds larger than itself - for example, the great woodpecker. It also feeds on rodents. It is usually active at dawn and dusk, but during the feeding period, it hunts during the day. This year I was able to see and photograph this beautiful baby for the first time.
